摘要
让·迪多内及其学派数学哲学的核心思想是引进数学结构的概念,并用这个概念来统一数学,着重抽象地考虑对象的集合及它们之间的关系,解决两种结构何时同构和把不同构的结构加以分类,这与经典数学关心具体的数学对象大相径庭。他们紧紧把握数学的进展,尤其是纯粹数学的进展,并勾勒出当时纯粹数学进展的主流。以新的视野开辟出新的领域,必须要有新的思想和方法。
The central idea of Jean Dieudonnē's philosophy of mathematics is to introduce the concept of mathematical structure,and thus unify mathematics. It lays weight on the abstract thinking of sets and their relationships, identifies isomorphism between two structures, and classifies different structures into categories. This is totally different from the mathematical subjects that classical mathematics focuses on. They pay close attention to the progress of mathematics, especially the progress of pure mathematics, and work out the outline of mainstream progress of pure mathematics. Creative thinking and methods are needed to explore a new world.
