摘要
《大学英语教学课程教学要求》明确指出高校应将专业英语教学纳入到大学英语教学体系。本文分析了我国专业英语教学现状,提出用CBI(Content-Based Instruction)理念指导专业英语教学,探讨了CBI在专业英语课程设置、教学模式的选择、教材的选用、师资培养和评价体系构建等方面的应用。
College English Curriculum Requirements clearly states that specialized English should be brought into the college English teaching system. This paper analyzes the current situation of English teaching and presents that the CBI （Content-based Instruction） concept could he used to guide the specialized English teaching. Then it explores the application of CBI in curriculum design, teaching mode, selection of teaching materials of the specialized English, teacher training and the construction of evaluation system.
