As the view of perspective of the general manager, it discusses the experience for a typical discrete manufacturing company to implement ERP system, such as the timing of implementation, the necessary condi- tions of implementation, the focused works for various stages, and some key points of successful implementation of ERP. It shows the detail about the treatment of period and amount of the successful implementation of ERP.
