聚环氧酯的合成及其对PC/ABS合金相容性的影响

摘要 以双酚A型环氧树脂和己二酸合成了聚环氧酯,将其作为相容剂加入到聚碳酸酯(PC)/丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)合金中,注射成型制备了PC/ABS合金,与马来酸酐接枝苯乙烯(PS-g-MA)相容剂增容的合金的力学性能及分散形态进行了对比。结果表明,聚环氧酯与PC相具有良好的相容性,而PS-g-MA与ABS相的相容性较好,二者复合使用可以显著改善合金的相容性;聚环氧酯能明显提高PC/ABS合金的拉伸强度和缺口冲击强度,但过量加入会降低合金的冲击强度;少量的聚环氧酯即可使ABS分散相分布均匀,与PS-g-MA并用可使分散相尺寸减小,提高相容性。 Poly(epoxy ester) was synthesized by bisphenol A epoxy and adipic acid, which was introduced into PC/ABS alloy as a compatilizer. Thus obtained PC/ABS alloy was processed through twin-screw extrusion, followed by injection molding. The compatibility of poly (epoxy ester) with PC/ABS alloy was evaluated through DSC, SEM, and mechanical property testing, and compared with that of maleic anhydride grafted polystyrene(PS-g-MA). It was found that the poly(epoxy ester) had a better compatibility with PC, while PS-g-MA had a better compatibility with ABS. With the incorporation Of poly(epoxy ester) and PS-g-MA compatibility of PC/ABS alloy could be significantly improved. The content of poly (epoxy ester) at a low level led to significant increase in both notched impact and tensile strengths. The notched impact strength dramaticly decreased with excess poly(epoxy ester) addition. SEM showed that the poly(epoxy ester) compatilizer made ABS disperse finely. The size of ABS domains in PC/ABS alloy was reduced when the two kinds of compatilizers were present.
