基督教人文主义与现代意义学术自由的萌芽和发展

摘要 16世纪中期以后,人文主义经过两三个世纪的传播,特别是经过宗教改革运动对传统教权主义的扫荡后,人文主义最为核心的部分,如尊重个体、主张冷静、批判、独立判断、知识自由与自信的精神等得以沉淀下来,并在西欧社会扎下了根。在此基础上,得益于基督教人文主义者基于中世纪大学学术自治传统而体现出的宗教宽容倾向的影响,诞生了宗教宽容和宗教信仰自由思想,真正具有现代意义的学术自由思想亦由此而萌芽,并初步在大学里得到发展和实践。 After the mid-16th century, the humanism had gone through two or three centuries' diffusing, especially when traditional clericalism had been thoroughly swept away by the Reformation, the humanism core section, including esteem the individual, advocates calm, the spirit of criticism, independent judgment, knowledge freedom and self-confidence, etc. , were kept down, and took root in Western European societies. On this basis, benefited from the influence of the tendency religious tolerance of the Christian humanism based on traditional academic autonomy of medieval universities, the religious tolerance and freedom of religious belief were made, and therefore the true modern sense academic freedom was germinated and developed in universities.
