摘要
关于城市规划学科的内涵以及城市规划人才的教育问题争论不断,使很多城市规划相关专业学生产生迷茫,很多城市规划工作从业人员感到困惑.城市规划是一门研究城市空间塑造的学科,也是一门建立在众多自然与人文科学之上的艺术.城市规划并不是要从不同层面进行城市研究,也不是要将城市学科群都包括在内的巨大交叉学科,而是有着独特研究领域的一种人居环境科学.城市规划教育应更加专业化,更专注于城市空间的塑造,并分别培养处理不同尺度城市空间的规划师.而城市规划工作则应该由各类城市规划师、各类交通及市政工程师、各类城市研究学者共同参与.
The issue of disciplinary connotation of urban planning and education of urban planning pro- fessionals are under debate. Both urban planning students and practitioners are confused about them. Urban planning is a study of urban space shaping,and also an art based on many natural and human sciences. It doesn＇t mean a study of urban construction from the different levels,nor does it include many interdisci- plines. It is an environmental science of human settlements in a unique research field. Urban planning ed- ucation should be more professional,and more focused on the shaping of urban space;moreover,it needs to cultivate personnel of different scales of urban space. Urban planning should be jointly participated by all kinds of city planners,traffic and municipal engineers,and urban study scholars.
