摘要
在消费文化语境中,重新审视20世纪文学中的看客现象,会发现看客身上的消费性、感官性、娱乐性等特质与消费文化的特点有一定的契合。看客通过"看"这个行为获得一种精神上或者意念欲望上的满足感,于是"看客"和"被看者"之间就构成了一种"消费∕被消费"的关系。本文尝试在这一关系中解读看客、作家、受众的三重消费心理,揭示看客现象下的媚俗化写作,进而探讨重建文坛生态环境和民族文化精神问题。
This paper reassesses the'on-looker'phenomenon in the context of the twentieth-century consumption culture. It proves that such traits of on-lookers as'consumption','sensuality'and'entertainment'are in accordance with the features of consumption culture to some extent. The on-lookers are spiritually satisfied with their'looking',and a relationship of'consumption / being consumed'is constructed by the'on-lookers'and'persons being watched'. The paper also explores the tri-consumption relationship among the'on-lookers','writers'and 'audience'respectively,revealing the vulgarization in writing under the influence of'on-looker'phenomenon as well as the problems concerning the reconstruction of literary ecology and national spirit and culture.
