摘要
采用悬浮聚合法制备了聚苯乙烯(PS)包覆水镁石(MH)阻燃剂,通过SEM照片可观察到微胶囊MH颗粒粒径明显增大,颗粒表面包覆一层鳞片状褶皱形壳材料;FTIR证实包覆的MH中含有PS特征峰并存在MH特有的羟基和Mg-O键吸收峰。研究了包覆MH阻燃环氧树脂的力学及阻燃性能。结果表明,随着阻燃剂用量的增加,氧指数呈逐渐上升趋势,垂直燃烧时间逐渐降低。当阻燃剂填加30%时,包覆MH阻燃材料的氧指数为25.3%,比普通MH阻燃试样增加0.8百分点,垂直燃烧熄灭时间略低于MH阻燃材料;包覆MH阻燃材料的拉伸强度和冲击强度分别为50.9MPa和10.9 kJ/m2,比普通MH阻燃试样分别提高18.9%和45.3%。
Brucite (MH) flame retardant was clad with polystyrene (PS) by suspension polymerization, SEM showed that the size of MH particles became larger, and surface of particles clad with flaky wrinkle shell materials; FTIR showed that there were PS characteristic peaks and special hydroxyl and Mg-O bond absorption peaks of cladding MH. The mechanical property and flame resistance Of cladding MH flame retarded epoxy resin were studied, results showed that the oxygen index improved gradually and vertical burning time decreased gradually with increase of flame retardant content, when the content of cladding MH flame retardant was 30%, the oxygen index was 25.3%, which improved 0.8% percentage points than flame retarded sample with ordinary MH; vertical burning time was lower than sample with ordinary MH; the tensile strength and impact strength were 50.9 MPa and 10.9 kJ/m2 respectively, which improved 18.9% and 45.3% than sample with ordinary- MH.
