摘要
美国综合中学将普通教育和职业教育融合在一起,承担着培养公民素质、升学和就业三大功能。以职业群为基础来设置综合中学的职业技术教育课程,既可以满足学生多样化的发展需求,也把中等教育与中等后教育有效地衔接起来,既为学生进入大学打下一定的专业基础,也为美国青年满足劳动力市场对技能发展的需求做了准备。
American high schools which mix general education and vocational education together have such three functions as developing citizens" quality,impelling students entering postsecondary education and encouraging students to obtain employment. The vocational curriculum in high schools based on career clusters can meet students" different needs,help link up secondary education and postsecondary education,help students possess some professional groundwork and equip youth with skills which are necessary to find a job in labor market.
