An overview of glycoconjugates for cancer targeting therapy and diagnosis

摘要 与正常细胞相比,肿瘤细胞的代谢行为发生了很大的改变,其在生理条件下对葡萄糖需求量极高,且倾向于通过无氧糖酵解方式分解葡萄糖以获得生长所需的能量。本文简述了针对肿瘤细胞这一特点的相关治疗方法,重点针对葡萄糖、葡萄糖衍生物和其他糖类修饰的肿瘤靶向药物、诊断试剂及靶向载体的研究进展进行了综述,并详细列举和讨论了近两年来有关此方面的一些经典研究报道。 Because of the changed metabolic behaviors of cancer cells, tumor cells larger amount of glucose in physiological condition when compared with normal cells uptake a corresponding And they were prone to metabolize glucose for generating energy in anaerobic glycolysis ways in order to grow quickly. Anaerobic glycolysis consumes more glucose than aerobic way when the same amount of energy is obtained, which also results in large demand of glucose in tumor cells. This review briefly describes therapy methods related to characteristic mentioned above, and summarizes the research progress of drugs, diagnostic reagents and carriers conjugated with glucose, glucose derivatives or other kinds of sugars for cancer targeting. Furthermore, typically relative research reports from 2012 till now were listed and analyzed.
