摘要
文学作品的翻译是弘扬各民族文化的重要渠道，但其中使用的大量文化负载词往往使译者感到非常棘手。本文试从阐释学角度，以莫言作品《生死疲劳》的英译本为例，分析译者葛浩文对文化意象和文化内涵的阐释行为。
Literary translation is of crucial position in cross-cultural communication, but translators are always overwhelmed by a great number of culturally-loaded words in literary works. From a Hermeneutic per- spective, this paper analyzes the interpretative act of dealing with cultural images and cultural connotations in the English version of Life and Death are Wearing Me Out.
