A serie of cold model tests had been carried out on double charge discharge coal ball mill. Operating characteristic of the gas solid two phase flow in cylinder coal ball mill had been obtained. It was further cleared that different flow fields influence drying coal, grinding coal and conveying pulverized coal in the ball mill. The results of cold model test are useful for design and control of double charge discharge coal ball mill. Figs 5, tebles 2 and refs 7.
