米歇尔·马费索利认为,多形态的社会本能已经出现在长期定义了现代性结构的同一性背后,曾经作为西方现代性基础的价值开始萎缩,新的价值逐步占据上风。理性的逻辑让位于感情的逻辑,功能的逻辑让位于角色的逻辑,机械的逻辑让位于有机的逻辑,未来的逻辑让位于当下的逻辑。部落成为感情共同体的隐喻,它不仅构成了后现代性的社会基础,而且促成了对于时代精神的创建。
Michel Maffesoli believes that polymorphic sociality has already appeared behind the identity that defines the structure of long term modernity ; the old values that were the foundation of western modernity begin to weaken, the new values gradually prevail. The logic of reason gives way to that of emotion, logic function gives way to its role, the logic of mechanism gives way to that of organicism, the logic of the future gives way to that of the present. The tribe becomes the metaphor of emotional communities, it is not just the social basis of postmoderuity, but it also creates the spirit of our times.
