The year 2013 witnessed a decline of MOOC mania. The impacts of MOOC as a disruptive innovation are those on interpersonal relationship, higher education and potential social consequences. However, MOOC is the natural extension of the changes of a series of assumptions concerning instrumental learning, commodification of knowledge, the transformation of univeristy's role and functions, and openness fetishisation. Rather than to replace traditional universities, MOOC is more likely to cooperate with them and get them transformed in the Drocess.
