摘要
"译者登场"是在尊重原文内容和风格的同时,充分发挥译者的主观能动性。受限于原文杀青的客观事实,译者登场自有其限定条件,即需要或有利于译出春秋笔法、进行价值选择、开展优势竞赛、进行认知补充和创新表达方式。因此,在翻译实务中,不仅需要译者登场,有时译者必需登场,而上述五个需要或有利于正是译者登场的条件和功能所在。
Translator＇ s turn refers to the full play of the translator＇ s subjective initiative when the ST＇ s content and style are fully respected. Translator＇ s initiatives should of course be subject to certain limitations since the source text has already been finished. This article discusses in detail these limitations and their impli- cations for translation practice.
