摘要
此文回顾了20世纪80年代作者在湖南人民出版社创办《美育》杂志的过程。《美育》的具体由来是1980年第一次全国美学会议上诸多专家对美育的呼吁,大背景则是"文化大革命"后广大青年对艺术、对美、对人类优秀文化成果的饥渴。美学界、教育界、艺术界的著名人物对刊物的创办给予了很大的支持。杂志社在1984年还举办了第一届全国美育座谈会。刊物坚持"普及美学知识,进行审美教育"的办刊方针,既顺应于当时的政治形势,又保持自己的学术品位,受到普遍欢迎。由于作者本人志向的转向,1985年调离了《美育》杂志。
This articles reviews how, in the 1980s, the present writer established Aesthetic Education in Hunan People＇s Publishing House. In 1980, after the Cultural Revolution, at the first national conference on aesthetics, many experts called for aesthetic education as a response to the demand of the youths to get in touch with the best achievements in human culture like art and aesthetics. Celebrities from aesthetic, educational and artistic circles threw their weight behind the establishment of the journal. In 1984, the said publishing house sponsored the first national symposium on aesthetic education. The journal held to its policy of ＂ popularizing knowledge of aesthetics and instigating aesthetic education＂, maintaining its academic standards while adapting to exigencies of the political situation. Consequently it was a huge success. Due to a change in my inclination I left the journal in 1985.
