Nd∶YAG激光非手术疗法在老年牙周炎患者中的应用前景 被引量:4

The application prospect of non-surgical periodontal treatment with an Nd∶YAG laser for the elderly periodontitis

摘要 随着我国进入老龄化社会,如何提高老年人生活质量成为困扰我们的难题。慢性牙周炎是老年人普遍存在的口腔疾病,不仅影响咀嚼,还影响消化以及全身的营养摄入。由于老年人常合并多种全身疾病,各项机能指标、免疫能力下降,现有的牙周治疗技术如刮治术、手术、药物治疗等应用时会存在一些不足。考虑到老年人对复杂治疗的耐受能力,一般首选非手术治疗,目前Nd∶YAG激光已广泛运用于牙周治疗。本文将从老年牙周炎特点、牙周非手术治疗技术、Nd∶YAG激光在牙周治疗中的优越性等方面进行阐述,为Nd∶YAG激光在老年牙周炎治疗的应用提供理论依据。 Along with our country entering an aging society,how to improve life equality of the elderly is a problem for us. Chronic periodontitis is so widespread in the elderly. It not only affects chewing,but also affects the digestion,especially the body's nutitional intake. The elderly usually have a lot of systemic diseases,and both the function indicators and immunity ability decreased. Nowadays,the periodontal treatment techniques,such as subgingival scaling and root planning、the surgical treatment,drug treatment,always have some deficiencies,when used in elderly periodontitis patients. Considering the elderly tolerance ability of complex treatment,we always choose non-surgical periodontal treatment. At present the Nd∶YAG laser has been widely used in periodontal therapy. This article will report on characteristics of the elderly periodontitis,non-surgical periodontal treatment technologies,and the advantages of Nd∶YAG laser in the periodontal treatment,so as to provide theoretical basis for Nd∶YAG laser treatment for periodontitis in elderly peoper.
