摘要
研究两端固定弹性梁在温度梯度场作用下,在一定的温度变化条件下弹性梁可保持直立;探讨了当温度超过临界温度时,梁将发生屈曲变形,并计算了两端固定单跨梁产生欧拉屈曲的临界温度。
In this work, we study the deformation and buckling of an elastic beam with fixed ends when subjected to a thermal gradient. Our study agrees with the previous result that the beam can remain straight under certain circumstances, but a further investigation reveals that Euler buckling can occur when the temperature exceeds a threshold value. The threshold value is calculated based on elasticity theory. This study can promote understanding of the phenomena of elastic instability in engineering structural components, and facilitate the design of functional devices using the principle of mechanical instability.
