摘要
本地化科技翻译具有文字处理量大、时效性强、服务环节多、团队作业等特点。基于上述特点,术语管理已发展成翻译团队中的一个专业职能,其主体包括术语专家和译员,但两者的任务侧重点各有不同。术语管理策略方面,对于标准化术语应遵守有关标准化规范加以处理,对于非标准化术语则可采取"照搬法"、"标注法"、"附录法"等加以处理。
Localization is featured by larger quantity of word processing, more timeliness, more service segments and team work, etc. Based on these features above, terminology management has developed into a professional function of a translation team. The subjects of terminology management include terminology experts and the translators. However, they have different task emphasis. Standardized terminology processing rests on the compliance with the relative norms, whereas for non-standardized terminology processing, man- aging methods as copying, labeling and appendix using, etc. can be adopted.
