摘要
阐述了一流学科和实验室建设中学科方向、学术队伍建设、基地建设、成果建设等方面的内涵与意义,以北京大学为例,分析学科发展与实验室建设的关系以及一流实验室在一流学科建设中发挥的重要支撑性作用。认为:要建设世界一流大学,必须建设一流的学科;要建设一流学科,需要建设一流的实验室。
Currently, the national and provincial key laboratories, distributed in the various coll.eges ahd universities, are the unity of high level talents, advanced equipment and high-quality scientiHc arid technological achievements, which have become: " aircraft carrier" in personnel training, teebnologii}al innovation and social service. The construction level of these laboratories sign!ties a university educational level, basic research strength, discipline development height and degree of social acceptance. Through elaborating on the meaning and significance Of first-class discipline and laboratory construction, and. taking Peking University as an example to analyze the relationship between discilpline development and laboratory construction, the result is obtained that if requiring to build a world-class university, the world, class discipline should be built first; to build first-class discipline, the first-class laboratorv should be built first.
