摘要
根据偏振雷达原理,用C波段双线偏振天气雷达观测得到4例强对流雹暴演变过程的水平反射率Z_H(dBZ)和差分反射率Z_(DR)(dB)垂直剖面RHI定量回波资料,分析了这些雹云不同演变阶段的回波参量和偏振特性的关系,说明Z_H、Z_(DR)双参量对判别降雹有着明显优势,用雨滴谱的Z_H-Z_(DR)分布边界关系对这些雹云回波进行判别降雹分析,给出我国用偏振雷达观测和识别冰雹的研究结果。
Detailed echo information of horizontal reflectivity ZH and differential reflectivity Z_(DR) were obtained by C-band dual linear polarization weather radar observations of four hailstorms in evolution process in August 1990. And based on polarization radar principles, we have analysed these echo parameters and polarization characteristic in their different evolution stages, and found Z_(DR) echo column is a distinct echo signature for discriminating fallhails. We have also used Z_H and Z_(DR) dual parameters technique to identify hails from mixed rains and hails, and alalysic the results.
