摘要
在无线传感器网络中,由于S-MAC协议的竞争窗口固定,导致其网络的适应性差.利用马尔可夫链数学模型对网络性能参数进行分析,并提出了一种冲突自适应S-MAC协议.新协议采用指数退避机制,并引入退避长度和信道忙计数器来估计当前信道的冲突概率,使节点自适应调整竞争窗口大小,提高网络性能.仿真结果表明,新协议不仅能很好适应网络流量变化,而且在能耗和吞吐量性能方面较S-MAC协议有明显改善.
In wireless sensor networks, fixed contention window of S-MAC protocol leads to the poor adaptability of network. In the paper, Markov chain model is adopted to analyze the key parameter of the network by using expo- nential backoff mechanism, and a collision adaptive S-MAC protocol is proposed. New protocol uses the exponential backoff mechanism, and two parameters are introduced to estimate channel collision probability, which make nodes modify contention window value adaptively to improve network performance. The NS2 simulation results showed that the new MAC protocol can adapt to the network traffic changes, and compared with S-MAC protocol, it improves energy efficiency and throughput significantly.
