摘要
试图在目的论的关照下,以中国沈寿艺术馆的旅游资料英译为例,探讨如何通过有效的翻译策略提高旅游资料英译文本的宣传效果,以实现它的预期交际目的。
The colorful exotic culture of China attracts millions of tourists .As the immediate tool of propaganda ,tourism texts assume the responsibility of communicating culture and attracting tourists .Skopos theory takes readers as the core of translation ,claiming that translators should convey the cultural information in source texts according to the purpose of trans-lation .Skopos theory highlights the purposes and functions of translation ;therefore ,it is an operational and instructive guideline of the tourism translation .With the translation of tourism text of China Shen Shou Art Gallery as a case study , this thesis attempts to discuss the effective strategies to the translation of tourism texts in the context of Skopos theory ,in attempts to improve the propagating effect of tourism texts and realize the expected communicative purpose of tourism texts .
