摘要
以三个水平组英语学习者和母语者作文为数据,调查词汇复杂度、句法复杂性和语篇连贯性随语言水平变化的模式。单因素方差分析发现,语言水平在词汇复杂度和句法复杂性层面有显著作用,但在语篇连贯性层面没有作用。语言水平在词汇复杂度层面的作用主要体现在二语组和母语组之间;在句法复杂性层面的作用体现在二语组中等和高水平组、二语组和母语组之间。
This paper investigates the changing patterns of lexical sophistication, syntactic complexity and coherence in compo sitions by the L2 and L1 across language proficiency levels. As a OneWay ANOVA indicates, language proficiency has a sig nificant influence on lexical sophistication and syntactic complexity, but fails to have an influence on coherence. The influence of language proficiency for lexical sophistication is found mainly between 1.2 groups and L1 group. The influence of language proficiency for syntactic complexity is found between the intermediate and high language proficiency groups of L2 on the one hand and between the L2 groups and L1 group on the other.
