摘要
利用国际互联网辅助英语教学是当前我国计算机辅助外语教学领域探索的一个热点。本文从由河北师范大学与纽约市立大学合作的电子邮件辅助英语跨文化交际教学实验出发，着重分析和探讨了利用电子邮件辅助英语教学的特点和优点，及其与优化英语教学环境的关系。
Nowadays Teaching English via Internet is one of the most popular interests in the field of CAI in China. The present article consists of a summary of one experiment on email assisted teaching programs cooperated by Hebei Normal University and the City University of New York. It aims at a systematic analysis of the characteristics and advantages of this new teaching method in terms of improving English teaching environment for beginning and intermediate English learners in China.
