深部泥岩地层扭力冲击器钻井钻头优选研究 被引量:11

OPTIMIZATION OF THE PDC BITS FOR TORQUE IMPACTOR DRILLING IN THE DEEP MUDSTONE FORMATION

摘要 新疆玉北地区深部泥质岩地层的优快钻进是钻井提速和降低钻井成本的关键,该地层埋深4 000 m左右,岩石强度高,泥质岩含量高,采用常规钻井方式及常规钻头钻井机械钻速低。为提高沙井子组地层机械钻速,引入了TorkBaster扭力冲击器钻井。作者针对地层岩性特征,结合前期钻头使用情况,根据钻头井底流场模拟结果,优选出了适合在沙井子组地层的个性化MD1646型PDC钻头,并提出了防止钻头泥包的配套工艺措施。现场应用结果表明,MT1646型PDC钻头在相同工作时间与前期MT1657型PDC钻头钻井相比,采用油基钻井液平均机械钻速提高81%,钻头工作进尺增加143%;采用改进水基钻井液平均机械钻速提高76%,钻头工作进尺增加102%。研究成果为同类地层的优快钻井提供了重要的技术参考。 The burial depth of mudstone formation in Xinjiang Yubei area is about 4000 meters,and the mudstone formation has high rock strength and rich clay content,so,the ROP is low by using conventional drilling method and bit. In order to improve the ROP,the TorkBaster torque impactor was introduced into the Yubei oilfield. Based on the characteristics of the formation lithology and the simulation results of the bottom hole flow field of bit,the individualized MD1646 PDC bit suited for the Shajingzi formation was optimized. Moreover,the matching technologies to prevent bit balling have also been put forward.Compared with the MT1657 PDC bit,using the MD1646 PDC bit could increase the ROP more than 76% and the drilling footage be more than 102% in the water- based drilling fluids,and in the oil- based drilling fluids,the ROP of MD1646 PDC bit was more than 81% and drilling footage was more than 143%.This research results could serve as an important technological reference for the similar formation drilling.
