The first five months of 2014 saw China's trade grow by 0.2% over a year ago, thanks to the rebound of exports in May. The total trade volume during this period was US$1679.1 billion, as compared to US$1676.3 billion for the same period of 2013. Out of the total, exports reached US$875.2 billion, down 0.4%, while imports, at US$803.9 billion, were up 0.8%.
