摘要
分析世界卫生组织(World Health Organization,WHO)信息资源的主要类型和特点,并从信息组织和检索功能的角度,总结了WHOLIS数据库(WHO Library&Information Networks for Knowledge Database)的主题词、语种、载体类型和馆藏区域等信息组织方式,以及其检索平台在检索功能、结果输出和自动链接等方面的用法和特点。
Objective This paper analyzed the characteristics of WHO information resources and the information organization modes of WHOLIS （ WHO Library ＆ Information Networks for Knowledge Database）. Information organizations of subject headings, carrier types, function, result output and automatic link of the language retrieval s and regions were summarized and usage of retrieval olafform were introduced as well.
