摘要
本文试用二维绝热模式,用 KWBC 风场资料研究了1987年 E1 Ni■o 期间热带西太平洋表层流系对冬、春、夏、秋季风场的响应特征.模拟结果表明;在1987年 E1 Ni■o 期间,赤道附近东向流加强了,西向流减弱了;冬季东向流距平比夏季强度大,纬向范围小且位置偏南;模拟海流及水位分布特征与中、美海-气相互作用热带西太平洋联合调查及 Wyrtki 的观测基本一致.
In this paper a two dimensional adiabatic model has been used to study the response of sur- face current system in the Western Tropical Pacific to wind fields in winter,spring,summer and autumn of 1987 by using KWBC data.simulated results show that during El Nino event the east- ward current is strengthened and the westward current weakened near the equator;in winter the eastward current anomaly is greater,its meridioal range is smaller than in summer and the posi- tion is to the south;and that some features of simulated currents and sea level distrbution are basi- cally consistent with the observations from the USA-PRC Joint Air-Sea Interaction Study in the Western Tropical Pacitic and observations by Wyrtki.
