摘要
本文根据沉积物的粒度分析,将本区的沉积物划分为10种类型。并结合粒度参数特征,阐明沉积环境与水动力之间的关系,探讨物源和泥沙运移趋势。初步认为本区沉积物成因类型以陆源沉积为主,浅海残留沉积物出现,反映了海岸变迁和受侵蚀后退的过程。
This paper is mainly based on the results of grain size analysis of the 642 surfacial sediment samples collected from the shallow waters of northern Beibu Gulf. It is generally agreed that the sedimentation of shallow waters in northern Beibu Gulf mainly originates from river load and coastal erosion. Based on sediment grain size analysis, the sedimentation of the marine bottom is classified into ten types. The sedimentation grain size of circum-continental zonal distribution reflects an anticlockwise circulation in the Beinu Gulf controlls the action of sedimentation. At the same time, sediment grain size of the study region is characterized by an increase (coarse to fine) from shore seawards and median diameter arrangement from NE-SW, which show the characteristics of machinery deposition and sedimentary segregation. As a result of areal difference in geology and geomorphology as well as different hydrodynamical action and synthetic action, and historical process of the transgression and regression, two sediment areas appeared relevantly in the east and west of the shallow waters, namely, coarse sedimentation in the east and fine in the west.
