摘要
有效α年剂量一般用K值累统进行估算,但κ测甚值强烈地依赖于测量所用的α粒子的能量。实验表明,α粒子的单位径迹长度基本上不依赖于粒子的能量。这样,就可以根据单位径迹长度来确定α粒子灵敏度,并用单位体积样品产生的径迹长度刻度α源,这就是所谓a值系统。在这个系统中,有效α年剂量可以直接从α计数率得到。
The effective alpha annual dose is usually evaluated by using a K-value system. But the measured value of K is strongly dependent on the energy of the alpha particles used for measurement. This drawback is avoided in the a-value system, which is based on the experimental fact that the TL per unit length of track is approximately independent of particle energy. Thus, we can specify alpha sensitivity in terms of TL per unit length of track and calibrate alpha source in terms of the length of track delivered per unit volume of sample. In a-value system the effective alpha annual dose is obtained directly from alpha count rate.
