摘要
留美教育在中国的发展已有 10 0多年的历史 ,它作为中国留学教育历史的一个重要部分 ,对近代中国的发展和演变起到了积极的推动作用。文章回顾了中国留美教育从 1872年开始至今 10 0多年来的历史 ,从历史背景、形成原因。
China has developed its foreign education in the United States for more than one hundred years.Being an important protion of China's foreign education, it took an active part in the evolution of China's modern history.This paper reviews the history of China's foreign education in the United States from 1872 and gives a picture of four climaxes of the education concerning its historical background and position,characteristics and formation.
