摘要
利用单模光纤的非线性效应———背向受激布里渊散射 (BSBS)和光纤光栅的选频特性 ,用掺铒单模光纤作增益介质 ,采用半导体激光器连续抽运方式 ,研究了自调Q光纤激光器的运转情况 ,得到了稳定的光脉冲输出。脉冲宽度 (FWHM)约为 2 2ns,重复频率为 6 4 5MHz。
Self-Q-switched Er-doped fiber laser has been studied in this paper. Er-doped fiber is applied as gain medium, which is pumped by CW 980 nm LD. A fiber grating is used as the wavelength selector and cavity reflector. The stable self-Q-switched laser output is realized based on the nonlinearity of SM fiber-stimulated Brillouin scattering. The repetition rate about 64.5 MHz, and the full width at half maximum (FWHM) about 2.2. ns are obtained.
