摘要
梯玛文化是现存土家语区保存较为完整的原始文化。“梯玛”的引申义是“女神”，它的前期任职是女巫。梯玛法事活动中生存崇拜实则是梯玛崇拜。梯玛在土家族社会历史中具有重要作用。
Tima culture is an integrated primitive one kept in the area of Tujia language that is spoken nowadays. The extended meaning of 'Tima'is'Goddess'. It is regarded as a sorceress in early. Actually the survival worship is Tima Worship in his activities of witchcraft. Tima has played an important role in the history of Tujia society.
