Electrolytic polishing plays an important role in precision brasspolishing and therefore research into the prescription of polishing electrolyte becomes a problem of great significance in practice. Up to present extant polishing electrolytes have the drawbacks of more power consumption and pollution. The prescription of a new-type polishing electrolyte is illustrated in this article , which has the advantages of fine polishing quality, of less power consumption and no pollution. Its energy utilization ratio to the former prescription is increased by three to nine times which is a point having considerable practical value. And so as far as the industrial production is concerned, it is really a good prescription.
