基于DCT的残差自适应编码压缩

摘要 本文提出了图象残差压缩的概念,建立了在JPEG压缩算法基础上改进的、基于DCT的残差自适应编码压缩方法。该方法与JPEG压缩算法相比,压缩速度没有显著差别,但恢复图象信噪比可提高约1分贝,对局域相关性较弱的遥感类图象,恢复图象精度的提高尤为明显。 new concept about secondary compression of residual image has been presented. On the basis of the concept a adaptive compression model of secondary compression of residual image has been set up. The speed of this model is not only as fast as JPEG's, but this model increases the SNR of restored image, In the applicable compression range of JPEG's, the Signal Noise Ratio (SNR) of our model is about 0. 2-1. 4dB higher than JPEG's, especially for remote sensing images.
