In Cherishing the Memory of Wolves, Jia Pingwa employs a perception and a stereotype which have already existed in his other novels to depict the interactive relationship between human beings and nature, tradition and modernity, science and spirit.The spiritual strength and the persistance of minds in this new novel reveal writer's the metaphysical pondering over the life which attract people's attentions.
