摘要
在 3DGIS中 ,树的表达是一个难点问题 .由于树木与一般实体对象不同 ,具有明显的分形空间特征 ,因此用常规简单的建模方法很难表达一棵树 .在 VR中常用的方法是利用分形算法来生成树木模型 ,具有逼真的可视效果 ,但数据量对于 GIS环境来说太大 ,可视化困难 ;在 3DGIS中常用的方法是利用树的图像替代树模型 ,但在近视点效果较差 ,同时也没有表达出树木所固有的空间特性 .文中综合以上两者的优点 ,将树的分形模型与其图像替代模型结合起来 ,初步解决了树模型在 3DGIS中的可视化问题 ,以达到逼真。
Representation of tree is a difficult problem in 3DGIS. Tree differs from common objects in its obvious fractal character, being difficult to modeling with common approaches. Now, fractal is in common use to produce vivid effect of tree. But the data amount is too large for its application in GIS; using tree image instead of tree is another approach in common use, but in the close shot, tree image would give bad effect, and the essential characters of tree are ignored. In this paper, we put forward a new method, which combines the tree fractal model with image model using LOD technology. By this approach, we can preliminarily realize the high speed visualization and vivid effect.
