Cholesterol content in the blood of sika deer velvet was compared with sika deer blood,pig blood,fowl blood using Dual Wavelength Thin Layer Scanner.The cholesterol content in the blood of sika deer velvet was 0.09 mg/mL and lower than other three kinds of animal blood.
