PREDICTION OF GRAIN SIZE OF α-Fe TRANSFORMED FROM AUSTENITE THROUGH LOW TEMPERATURE HEAVY DEFORMATION

摘要 基于相变动力学原理,讨论了球形铁素体在奥氏体晶界形核及长大的动力学,在形核速率计算中引入变形的作用,并充分考虑过冷的作用,探索了预测低温变形诱导析出的α晶粒尺寸的方法.用该方法进行的计算机模拟结果和实验结果吻合良好,表明这种理论处理方法可用来模拟这种相变过程. On the basis of transformation kinetics and thermodynamics, the nucleation and growth of spherical ferrite grain on austenite grain boundary have been investigated. The free energy of work-hardened austenite was calculated by adding the strain energy of dislocations to that of non- deformed austenite. In addition, the influence of effective deformation ledge on the active energy for nucleation was considered as a factor associated with strain, which was introduced into the calculation of nucleation rate. In view of enhancement of deformation on transformation, the grain size of α-Fe formed by strain induced transformation was calculated, and the simulated result is in agreement with experiment results. Therefore, all of these indicate that the proposed method can be used to modeling this kind of transformation.
