以Pt、Pd作为直接指示元素,利用1∶20万全国区域化探扫面水系沉积物测量副样和全国超低密度泛滥平原沉积物测量样品,采用化学光谱法测定Pt、Pd和Au三种元素,进行了中国大陆超低密度Pt、Pd地球化学填图,在川滇等地球化学省开展了1∶20万Pt、Pd区域化探,发现中国大陆存在几个重要的Pt、Pd地球化学省和一些区域异常。中国大陆Pt、Pd丰度低:Pt0.42ng/g,Pd0.35ng/g,呈不均匀分布。在活动带中Pt、Pd有显著富集。川滇是一个重要的铂族元素成矿省,除镁铁-超镁铁岩及有关的铂族元素矿化外,在黑色岩系以及西南暗色岩系等岩层中Pt、Pd等显著富集,并且发现了非传统类型铂族矿化。
Geochemical reconnaissance mappimg of ultralow density in China is under way using chemical spectrometry analysis of Pt, Pd and Au from floodplain overbank sediment samples. The regional geochemical exploration for platinum group elements in several geochemical provinces is developed. The Pt and Pd are taken as direct pathfinder elements to search for platinum group elements deposits in these studies. The geochemical reconnaissance and exploration for Pt and Pd leads to the discovery of many unknown Pt and Pd geochemical provinces and regional anomaly horizons. The abundances of Pt and Pd in Chinas continental crust are low. The Pt and Pd abundances of the floodplain overbank sediment are 0.42 ng/g and 0.35 ng/g, respectively, and they are in differential type distribution. In the margin active belts of Sino Korean craton and Yangtze craton and in the folded systems, for example, Sichuan Yunnan rift zone, the high content of Pt and Pd is presented, and these geochemical provinces are worthy to paid attention to search for platinum group elements deposit. Geochemical concentration of Pt and Pd in the black shales and in the basic volcanic rocks is evaluated. It is, therefore, thought to be the reflection of a new nontraditional platinum group elements complex mineralization.
