摘要
虚拟现实技术所创建的外语教学环境提供了形象化、沉浸式的体验。基于其在视觉和感知方面的优势和教学的需求,它具有模拟真实场景、整合资源、增加信息的类别与数量等价值。本文探讨了虚拟现实技术在英语演讲实训中的应用价值,它可以在语音识别、情绪体验、心理应激、感知和非言语表征等方面为学习者创设高度仿真体验,并有效地提高实践型语言知识技能。
Virtual reality techniques offer visualized and immersive experience,thus creating an ideal environment for foreign language teaching and learning.Owing to its advantages in visual and perceptive knowledge,and in response to pedagogic needs,virtual reality techniques are valuable in creating seemingly real situations,integrating resources,and increasing categories and quantities of information.This research explores the practical value of virtual reality for the professional training in English public speeches.It will help the speakers with the technology of automatic speech recognition,and give rise to highly simulated experiences in emotion experience,psychological stress,perception and non-verbal representation.Furthermore,such techniques will effectively improve learners’ practical language knowledge and skills.
