摘要
本文介绍和分析了在序列图象运动补偿编码中,用于对帧间(运动)位移矢量进行估值的一类算法——块匹配算法,并在此基础上利用预测方法对该算法作出了改进。计算机模拟实验结果表明,改进后算法不但在位移矢量的估值精度上优于原算法,而且运算复杂度显著下降。
We first introduce and analyse the so-called block matching algorithm which is fre-quently used for estimating the interframe displacement vectors in motion-compensationcoding of image sequences.Then,on the basis of what is described above,we propose animprovement on this algorithm by using a predictive method.The computer simulation re-sults show that the improved algorithm is superior to the original one both in the accuracyof the estimation of displacement vectors and in the computation complexity.
