摘要
12世纪诞生于基督教母体的大学 ,使精神教化与知识传授获得统一 ,并为现代社会奠定了知识与意义统一的教育机制。大学作为创新科学原理与守护精神价值的策源地 ,特别以造就人格化的知识分子为核心。知识分子执著于科学原理与道义根据渊源于大学的终极信仰传统 ,此即人文精神。大学对主体认知、意志与情感的素质教育 ,最深层的素质乃是对真善美终极价值的执著向往 ,大学人文精神从而成为对古典信仰教化的现代性转化与承担。
The emergence of university in the 12th century from Christianity, which aimed at educating people and imparting knowledge, was a historical step towards modernity, and at a foundation for the modern education system that emphasizes the integration of knowledge with sense. The university, in which scientific principle is made and spiritual values are worshiped, is the place where intellectuals with good moral integrity are trained and brought up. The scientific principle and the spiritual values sought by the intellectuals originated from the tradition of the ultimate faith, that is, the humanity in modern times. In the qualities of subject cognition, will and emotion fostered through humanity courses in universities, the highest and the most essential is the fascination in the true, the good and the beautiful. Therefore, the humanity in universities has become a transition and commitment of modernity of the classical faith fostering.
