《简·爱》作为一部自传体小说，要了解其主人公简·爱，必须先了解其作者夏洛蒂·勃朗特，通过对作者思想经历及时代背景的分析，肯定简·爱这个女性反抗代表人物的反抗精神，分析简·爱的顺从性格。
Because Jane Eyre is an autobiographical novel of Charlotte Bronte, we should know Charlotte Bronte who is the anther of Jane Eyre first in order to understand Jane Eyre. We can affirm the revolting spirit of Jane Eyre and analyse her submissive character through the analysis on the autheor' s thought esperience and the background.
