摘要
提出了一种能够提高ITU TG .72 9算法性能的静音检测技术 .该技术的引入不仅可以降低G .72 9的语音通讯平均传输比特率 ,而且可以大量节省G .72 9压缩和解压过程的实际运算量 .通过在不同噪声背景下的性能分析 ,该静音检测技术的引入不会对G .72
ITU T G.729 is a useful full rate recommendation for 8 kb/s digital speech communication. However it seems rather complex when applied to personal communication systems. Noticing that active speech is only account about 40% of real two way conversation, a simplified version of G.729 based on voice active detection (VAD) is presented in this paper. After applying voice active detection, G.729 will enable not only bit rate saving but also computation improving. The average bit rate of G.729 will be down to lower than 4 kb/s and computation time will be saved up to 54% in this improved G.729. Performance of the algorithm under different noise is also presented. Tests show good result under different noisy environments.
