摘要
“三个代表”的重要思想一方面是党在新世纪长期执政的理论之基 ,使党最终完成从革命党思维彻底转向执政党思维的理论转型 ;另一方面又是党长期执政的实践之基 ,它在科学总结国内外发展社会主义事业正反两方面经验的基础上 ,深刻阐明保持和发扬党的先进性 ,提高党的执政能力和领导水平的新思路、新观念和新论断。
On the one hand, the important theory of 'Three Representatives' plays a role of theoretical basis for the Chinese communist party over the long run in this new century, and has made the party transformed finally from a revolutionary party to a ruling one in theoretical characterization. On the other hand, it even serves as the practical foundation for maintaining the ruling status of the Chinese communist party in a long term. After a reflection and the positive or negative experience in developing socialist enterprise both abroad and at home, this theory has produced some new thinking ways, new ideas, and new conclusions for maintaining and developing the party's leadership, political capacity and its leading level.
