目前乘用车行业竞争激烈,乘用车研发和生产成本也日益增大,车型产品的投放和更新换代也不断加快,这些因素都将对车企的研发和生产能力提出新的要求,乘用车开发平台化和模块化的应用已是各车企普遍达成的共识。主要介绍国外先进车企在乘用车开发平台化和模块化的应用,并依托东风柳州汽车有限公司的开发经验,提出了乘用车平台化和模块化开发的思路,从而为车企降低车型开发成本,提高研发效率提供借鉴。
