摘要
针对激光告警图像处理系统对于实时性要求高,要求数据快速传输,以及所要处理的数据量大的特点,将增强的直接存储器访问数据传输方式应用到图像数据传输的技术中。基于TI公司TMS320C6713 DSP芯片和XILINX公司XC2S200PQ208 FPGA芯片的图像处理系统,介绍了系统中FPGA芯片的时序逻辑控制,DSP外部存储器接口(external memory interface,EMIF)与FPGA的硬件接口设计,并着重描述了DSP与FPGA之间增强的直接存储器访问(enhanced direct memory access,EDMA)传输方式的配置和程序设计流程。传输过程不需要CPU干预就可实现数据在存储空间中的高速搬移,并且采用Ping-Pong缓存结构,从而使CPU可以在数据传输的同时进行数据处理,充分发挥出了DSP芯片的性能,为整个系统的实时性提供了有力保证。
High real time capability,fast transmission of data,large amount of data are major challenges that the laser warning image processing system is facing.The EDMA data transmission mode is applied to the image data transmission technology.The image processing system based on DSP of TI TMS320C6713 and FPGA of XILINX XC2S200PQ208 was introduced.The timing logic control of FPGA in the system,the design of hardware interface between external memory interface (EMIF) and FPGA were introduced.The configuration and the program flow of EDMA transmission mode between the DSP and FPGA was described.High speed moving of data can be reaclzed without transmission of data without CPU intervention in the storge space.By using Ping-Pong buffer structure,the CPU to transfer data at the same time was allowed for data processing,which provide a strong guarantee for the realtime pefformance of the whole system.
