摘要
针对大学生面临的严峻就业形势,以扬州某高校英语专业的学生为例,通过问卷调查分析高校英语专业毕业生就业状况,结果表明,他们同样面临就业困境,这既有其自身知识能力相对欠缺的原因,也有非英语专业毕业生的加入使就业竞争更加激烈的原因。因此政府、学校、学生自身三个方面都要有相关的应对策略,才能提高高校英语专业毕业生就业率。
In the severe employment situation,college graduates majoring in English are encountering employment predicament.A questionnaire survey is conducted among the English majors in a university in Yangzhou City to figure out the causes of the predicament,among which are their relative poverty in knowledge and ability and the joining of non-English majors.Based on the empirical findings,some countermeasures are proposed from such aspects as the government,school and students themselves.
